A custom patch is one of the most versatile branding tools available — equally at home on a motorcycle jacket, a corporate uniform, a military-style bag, or a merch hoodie. The right patch type depends on the material it’s going on, the aesthetic you want, and how it will be applied.
Six Stitch produces all major patch types in-house: embroidered, leather, rubber/PVC, sim stitch, printed, puff, and 3D. Every patch is available with iron-on, sew-on, Velcro, or adhesive backing. Custom shapes, die-cut edges, and merrowed borders are all standard options.

What types of custom patches do you make?
We produce embroidered, leather, rubber/PVC, simulated stitch, puff, 3D, and printed patches. Each type has different minimums, pricing, and best-use applications — contact us and we'll help you choose the right one.
What backing options are available?
We offer iron-on, sew-on, Velcro (hook and loop), and adhesive backing on most patch types. The right backing depends on how and where the patch will be applied.
What is the minimum order for custom patches?
Minimums vary by patch type. Embroidered patches typically start at 25–50 pieces. Rubber and PVC patches may have higher minimums due to mold costs. Contact us with your design and we'll give you exact minimums and pricing.
Can you make patches in custom shapes?
Yes — custom die-cut and laser-cut shapes are standard. We can match any outline as long as the design has enough border for structural integrity.
How do I apply iron-on patches?
Iron-on patches are applied using a household iron or heat press at around 300°F for 15–20 seconds with firm pressure. Heat press application gives a more permanent bond. We include application instructions with every iron-on order.
Can you apply the patches to garments for us?
Yes — we offer patch application as an add-on service. We can sew, iron, or press patches onto garments as part of your order so they arrive fully finished and ready to sell or distribute.
